Spend a couple of hours in a beautiful orchard close to the Atlantic Ocean and to the historical town of Tavira. Relax at our Kiwano bar, where you are welcome to picnic, walk freely in the garden and learn about all the incredible number of fruit trees that can be grown in Southern Europe. We like to call it a “Fruit Tree Safari experience” 🍌 🌿 🐆

You will be guided throughout by a member of our team.

What you will learn:

  • Discover the incredible variety of fruit trees that are suitable to our climate here in Southern Europe (including the miracle Moringa tree, the forgotten banana varieties, the different guavas, the most fragrant citrus, the edible succulents, ...)

  • Join us in exploring the main agroecology practices and see how they look and function at the Orchard of Flavours: from mulching, to composting, to the benefits of the Banana Circle approach, water harvesting and water saving techniques through micro-irrigation, …

  • easy parking or access by train (Livramento station at a walking distance)

  • wheelchair friendly

  • dry toilets

  • fruit when available (depends on season)


Suggested donation (all funds raised REVERT towards developing the project):

  • minimum 4 persons: 15 EUR/person

  • group of 5 to 16 people: 10 EUR/person
